The Murarka Group has a history of about 75 years in Nepal. What began as a network of 19 rice mills, which exported quality products to India. Soon we became a professionally managed, fast growing, and one of the most diversified conglomerates in Nepal.
With a presence in various industries such as, clean energy, cement, banking & insurance, iron & steel, education, paint, edible oil, metal containers, and trading, Murarka Group has built a network across industries to enrich the lives of people around it.
As of 2017, Murarka Group employs more than 1500 people across its various companies.
Manufacturing is the core of Murarka Group. The organisation came into existence because of its success in the manufacturing and processing sectors. The organisation is a key stakeholder in the the manufacturing sector of Nepal. We grew from selling rice locally to exporting refined palm oil to India.
Murarka Group has a long history of being involved in trade. What began as exporting rice in the days of inception, we have shifted our focus to bring globally recognised names to Nepal.
Moving from manufacturing to the service industry is a sign of progress. The service industry in Nepal is still young, and we at Murarka Group work to bring new instruments and products into the service industry through banking, insurance, and education.
